Job Title: Production Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and result-driven Production Operations Manager to oversee the entire production process, ensuring optimal utilization of resources, maintaining high-quality standards, and achieving production targets. The role involves managing day-to-day factory operations, implementing process improvements, and leading cross-functional teams to ensure efficiency and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and control all factory operations to achieve production targets and deadlines.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize productivity, reduce costs, and improve quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, statutory requirements, and environmental standards.
  • Supervise and manage department heads, production staff, and support teams to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Monitor inventory levels, raw material procurement, and coordinate with supply chain for timely availability.
  • Prepare and manage production budgets, track operational costs, and maintain financial efficiency.
  • Implement lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance factory performance.
  • Conduct regular inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure machinery and equipment are maintained in good condition.
  • Analyze production data, prepare reports, and present operational performance to senior management.
  • Handle workforce management including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and conflict resolution.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • 8–12 years of progressive experience in manufacturing/production, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of production planning, quality control, and supply chain management.
  • Experience in handling large-scale manufacturing units and workforce management.

Skills Required:

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of manufacturing processes, production equipment, and safety protocols.
  • Proficiency in ERP and factory management software.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
