Job Title: People Operations Expert

\

We're seeking an experienced HR professional to oversee people operations, handling talent acquisition, employee engagement, compliance, and performance management while working in Pacific Time hours.

\

This role requires a strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance requirements, and HR best practices. The ideal candidate will have experience managing recruitment, onboarding, and performance management cycles, as well as designing and running initiatives that improve employee satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • \
  • Handle the entire employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, payroll inputs, benefits, performance management, and exit processes.\
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment: writing job descriptions, sourcing, screening, interviewing, coordinating offers, and ensuring smooth onboarding.\
  • Maintain accurate and secure employee records, contracts, HR documentation, and HRMS data.\
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, PF, POSH, and other statutory requirements.\
  • Develop and implement employee engagement programs, recognition initiatives, and events that improve morale and retention.\
  • Serve as the point of contact for employee relations, conflict resolution, and grievance redressal.\
  • Oversee performance review cycles, goal-setting processes, and career development frameworks.\
  • Regularly review and update HR policies to ensure legal compliance and clarity for employees.\
  • Generate HR reports on hiring, attrition, engagement, and other workforce analytics for management.\

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.\
  • 2+ years of progressive HR experience in India across all major HR functions.\
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance requirements, and HR best practices.\
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, approachable, empathetic, and able to handle sensitive matters professionally.\
  • Comfortable working in Pacific Time hours to stay aligned with global teams.\
  • Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-growing organization.\
