About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team in Coimbatore, India. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing C-class items procurement activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process purchase orders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Manage the end-to-end purchasing cycle, including PR to PO, sending PO to suppliers, PO confirmation, delivery follow-up, and supplier payment coordination.
  • Coordinate with vendors for actual delivery status of material.
  • Prepare and submit reports on open purchase orders and shortages.
  • Work on pull-in, push-out, and cancellation as per the MRP report and achieve KPI targets.
  • Maintain inventory at the optimum level as per site requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal business partners and suppliers for purchase order changes.
  • Manage the supplier database.
  • Escalate shortage or excess issues.
  • Coordinate and follow through on urgent receives, past-due management, and resolving receiving challenges.

Requirements

  • Education: Diploma or B.com/B.B.A/B.Sc/MBA.
  • Experience: 0-2 years (Procurement/Supply Chain). Knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required.
