Job Description

The position of Billing Tester involves designing test plans, working in a dynamic cross-functional agile environment, and developing automated testing scripts. This role requires strong technical skills, including proficiency in web service testing tools, Test Management Tools, and knowledge of Selenium.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design test cases for software integration and conversion functions
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and test managers to define and review test requirements and strategy
  • Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures, both manual and automated
  • Establish and oversee all aspects of quality assurance, including metrics and tool usage
  • Develop SQL scripts to query databases
  • Test integrations using tools like SOAP UI, Postman, etc.
  • Review functional specifications developed by business analysts in the form of User Stories, process flows, use cases, and data mappings
  • Conduct user story demonstrations at the end of each development cycle
  • Participate in agile sprint ceremonies, daily standups, sprint planning reviews, and retrospective sessions
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in web service testing tools such as SOAP UI, XML, JSON, POSTMAN
  • Proficiency in Test Management Tools JIRA, HPQC, VSTS
  • Knowledge of Selenium, QTP, Ranorex, Excel Macro using VB Scripting or any other Test Automation Tool
  • Awareness of Test Automation and ability to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Knowledge of both Manual and Automation testing skills
