ETL Developer

About this role:

We are looking for a highly skilled ETL developer with experience in designing, developing and maintaining scalable data pipelines on the Azure Databricks platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop efficient ETL pipelines using Azure Databricks (Spark) to transform and load large-scale data sets into our data warehouse.
  • Ingest data from various structured and unstructured sources such as databases, files and APIs.
  • Collaborate with data architects, analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, performance tuning and error handling in data workflows.
  • Schedule and monitor ETL jobs using Azure Data Factory or Databricks Workflows.
  • Participate in code reviews and maintain coding best practices.

Required Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, Spark (PySpark/Scala) and SQL.
  • Strong background in data modeling and warehousing concepts.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and services.
  • Experience with version control tools like Git and collaboration tools like Jira.
