Job Title: Databricks Data Engineer Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a talented data professional to design and implement secure, scalable data pipelines using Databricks.

This role involves working with our team to develop high-performance SQL queries, optimize Spark jobs, and ensure data quality and compliance across all stages of the data lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks, PySpark, and SQL.
  2. Manage data governance, access controls, lineage, and auditing across data assets.
  3. Develop high-performance SQL queries and optimize Spark jobs.
  4. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data needs.
  5. Implement best practices for data security and lineage within the Databricks ecosystem.
  6. Participate in CI/CD, version control, and testing practices for data pipelines.
Requirements
  • Data engineering experience with Databricks and its ecosystem.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, access controls, and auditing principles.
  • Excellent SQL and Spark programming skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with CI/CD, version control, and testing practices.
