Facilities Officer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Officer to oversee the day-to-day operations of our facilities. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facility Management: Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities, including housekeeping, security, transport, pantry, and engineering services.
  • Vendor Management: Manage vendor contracts, service-level agreements (SLAs), and ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
  • Audit and Compliance: Conduct regular audits (ISO, fire, EHS) and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of facility executives/supervisors across multiple sites or a large campus.
  • Budget Planning: Plan and control facility budgets, cost optimization strategies, and infrastructure improvements.
  • Infrastructure Management: Ensure a smooth functioning of business continuity infrastructure like UPS, HVAC, access controls, and CCTV.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: 12+ years of experience in facility operations, preferably in a BPO or IT environment.
  • Leadership: Proven track record in managing large facilities (minimum 3-5 lakh sq. ft).
  • Skillset: Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Vendor Management: Experience in vendor and contract management.
  • Audit and Compliance: Familiarity with safety protocols and audit processes (ISO, OSHA, etc.).
