Backend Development Expert

We are seeking a skilled Backend Development Expert to design and manage the backend architecture for scalable web/mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the entire backend architecture from planning to deployment, ensuring seamless scalability and performance.
  • Develop user authentication and authorization using industry best practices, prioritizing security and efficiency.
  • Implement logic, user discovery algorithms, and preference-based filters to enhance user experience.
  • Build chat and messaging systems with real-time messaging capabilities, leveraging cloud services for optimal performance.
  • Integrate push notification services for iOS and Android devices, expanding reach and engagement.
  • Design and manage MongoDB schema optimized for high-performance matchmaking and chat use cases, ensuring data integrity and speed.
  • Ensure secure API access using HTTPS and role-based access controls, protecting sensitive information.
  • Handle media uploads securely via cloud storage, streamlining content management.
  • Implement analytics hooks for key user actions and behavior tracking, informing data-driven decisions.
  • Build admin APIs for user moderation, reporting, and flagging systems, promoting accountability and transparency.
  • Monitor and maintain API performance, database health, error logs, and uptime metrics, ensuring system reliability and stability.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years' experience in backend development with Node.js, Firebase, and MongoDB, showcasing expertise and adaptability.
  • Strong understanding of token-based authentication and security practices, demonstrating commitment to data protection.
  • Experience building scalable, real-time chat or messaging systems, highlighting ability to meet evolving demands.
  • Familiarity with cloud storage and services, leveraging scalability and flexibility.
  • Solid knowledge of CI/CD, monitoring, and application scaling, ensuring efficient operations and maintenance.
  • Clear communication skills for technical documentation and cross-functional collaboration, promoting effective teamwork and innovation.
