Device Support Engineer

BPM Microsystems, a global leader in device programming systems used across the semiconductor and electronics industries, is seeking passionate individuals to join their Device Support Engineering team. The team ensures fast, high-quality support for Non-Volatile memory devices.

We are looking for skilled professionals to write programming algorithms that enable support for devices with Non-Volatile memories. This includes updating existing algorithms with new specification changes from semiconductor manufacturers.

The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, be able to multitask and pay close attention to detail, and possess strong written and verbal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write algorithms to support Non-Volatile memory devices.
  • Update existing algorithms with new specification changes from semiconductor manufacturers.
  • Assess feasibility of support requests and identify necessary electrical and software requirements.
  • Design and release Socket Module adapter boards.
  • Evaluate incoming requests for support of devices.
  • Apply standard engineering techniques and leverage AI to complete device support engineering tasks.
  • Collaborate with QA and software teams on unique testing requirements.
  • Work with Technical Support on issues or questions pertaining to Device Support.
  • Troubleshoot and fix problems found and reported by QA or customers.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree, preferably in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering
  • Proficient in C/C++/Assembly languages, Python
  • Ability to learn quickly and work independently or in a team environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
