Senior Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Payroll Specialist to join our team at Think Design Collaborative. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to take on a challenging role in payroll management.
Job Responsibilities- Payroll Process Management: Oversee the entire payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate payment of wages to employees.
- Data Management: Maintain payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data with high precision.
- Record Updates: Update payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title and department/division transfers.
- Reporting: Prepare reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and non-taxable wages.
- Discrepancy Resolution: Resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
- Information Provision: Provide payroll information by answering questions and requests from employees and other stakeholders.
- Confidentiality: Maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
- Policies and Procedures: Develop, implement, and monitor the company's compliance policies and procedures.
- Laws and Regulations: Ensure the company is in compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Audits and Assessments: Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues.
- Training and Guidance: Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance-related matters.
- Inquiries and Issues: Manage and resolve compliance-related inquiries and issues.
- Reports: Prepare and submit compliance reports to regulatory bodies as required.
- Benefits Administration: Manage the administration of employee benefits, payroll, and HR information systems (HRIS).
- Record Accuracy: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of employee records and HR data.
- Onboarding and Offboarding: Coordinate the onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for employees.
- Performance Management: Support performance management processes, including annual reviews and development plans.
- Issue Resolution: Handle payroll and benefit-related issues, providing guidance and resolution as needed.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree: A degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Experience: 2-3 years of experience in payroll management or HR administration.
- Language: Proficiency in English.
