Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer

Objective:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Site Reliability Engineer to join our organization. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement performance testing and engineering solutions to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Develop and maintain high-level architectures for large-scale distributed systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize system improvements.
  • Design and implement monitoring and observability tools to improve system visibility and reduce downtime.
  • Establish and document performance baselines, thresholds, and SLAs for critical applications.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP), and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with load testing tools such as Jmeter/LoadRunner and APM tools like Dynatrace / New Relics / AppDynamics.
  • Proficiency in software development skills including .NET, Go, Python, C++, Ruby or Java.
  • Good experience of Automation across applications/services and Infrastructure Management.

Preferred Skills:

  • Software Engineering and Development skills: .NET, Go, Python, C++, Ruby or Java or software delivery platforms such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible, and/or Spinnaker.
  • Experience with Kubernetes.

Education:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
