Job Summary: Astellas Pharma Inc. is seeking a skilled Platform Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our digital transformation initiative, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and configuring business platforms to meet the specific needs of our organization. This role requires a strong understanding of business processes and technical expertise in developing and integrating software solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop business platforms to meet organizational needs, including programming, configuring settings, and integrating various software solutions.
  • Ensure seamless integration between different business platforms and systems, enhancing data flow and business processes.
  • Monitor platform performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to improve efficiency and user experience.
  • Provide technical support to platform users, resolve issues, and conduct training sessions to ensure effective utilization of the platforms.
  • Participate in and contribute to various initiatives, applying technical expertise to achieve objectives and expected value.
  • Collaborate with team members within the subdivision and across other digital and business units.
  • Engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies.
  • Contribute innovative ideas and approaches to enhance project outcomes and digital capabilities.
  • Regularly report on progress and outcomes to the Capability Lead and team members.
  • Employ analytical and problem-solving skills to overcome project challenges and deliver effective solutions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science or Data Science.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and configuring in the RIM space using Veeva Vault RIM platform.
  • Knowledge of Regulatory Affairs and Submission business processes and how Vault RIM supports these processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Agile and adaptable to changing environments and project scopes.
  • Knowledge of support processes, including Incident Management and Problem Management.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Veeva Admin Certification.
  • 1-3 years of demonstrated experience with Veeva Vault RIM.
  • Agile Champion: Adherence to DevOps principles and a proven track record with CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong coding skills in relevant tools and technologies, such as Java, C++, Python, R, or SQL.
