Job Title: Electrical Design Lead

We are seeking an experienced electrical engineer to lead project design execution in the automotive, battery, or EV sector. This role requires strong expertise in electrical design, product development, and project management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead design execution from project kickoff to production start, ensuring timely delivery and quality output.
  • Develop product requirements, prototype samples, cost estimates, and testing plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and allocating resources efficiently.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to meet deliverables and timelines, fostering strong relationships and open communication.
  • Drive engineering solutions through design reviews, FMEA, and risk mitigation, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Build strong partnerships with customers, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Partner with manufacturing for new product launches, cost reduction initiatives, and tooling requirements, ensuring seamless integration.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions as needed, maintaining a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (minimum).
  • 7+ years' experience in automotive, battery, EV sensor, or related product environment, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong communication skills – fluent in English (written & spoken), with the ability to communicate complex technical information effectively.
  • Proficient in technical report writing and public speaking, with the ability to present ideas and concepts confidently.
  • Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment/tools for development, testing, and validation, with a strong understanding of scientific principles.
  • Expertise in circuit design, schematic layout, and DFM for PCBAs with contract manufacturers, ensuring high-quality outputs.
  • Skilled in the design of experiments and product validation testing, with the ability to analyze data and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally when required, with flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
