We are seeking a seasoned educational leader to fill the role of Vice Principal at our CBSE school in Mumbai.

Job Description:

  • Academic Administration: The successful candidate will assist the Principal with relevant duties, ensuring the smooth operation of the school's academic programs.
  • School Discipline and Development: They will oversee school discipline, development, and quality of academics, creating a positive learning environment for students.
  • Curriculum Management: The ideal candidate will manage curriculum resources, supplies, and their execution, ensuring alignment with CBSE standards.
  • Team Management: As a key member of our leadership team, they will lead a team of coordinators, handle school staff, duties, and supervision, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Student Engagement: They will develop and implement strategies to engage students, manage exams, time-tables, contests, and academic calendars.
  • Staff Training and Development: The successful candidate will provide training and development opportunities to school staff, enhancing their skills and performance.
  • Policy Implementation: They will execute school policies, impacting rules and regulations, and maintaining control.
  • Parent Relations: Fostering positive relationships with parents is essential, addressing problems, and resolving conflicts effectively.
  • Teaching Responsibilities: The ideal candidate will teach select subjects on a regular basis, as per academic settings.
  • CBSE Liaison: Handling CBSE, state, and local liaison and compliance, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, is crucial.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate should have minimum 10+ years of experience in teaching and academic administrative levels with a proven track record in CBSE-affiliated schools.
  • A Post-Graduate degree with B.Ed and excellent communication and IT skills are necessary.
  • Thorough knowledge of CBSE compliances and other state and local regulations is required.
  • Good liaison and public relations skills are essential.
  • Preference given to candidates from Western Line, Mumbai.
