About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team as a Member of Technical Staff. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying high-quality code to production as a full-stack developer in an Agile team of diverse engineers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-quality code to production as a full-stack developer
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and drive best practices to improve team performance
  • Proactively identify and propose new, alternative technologies to create scalable implementations and achieve results
  • Act as the subject matter expert for the area of assignment
  • Work collaboratively across the Technology and Product organizations to ensure alignment towards business goals

Requirements

  • 2+ years of progressive software development experience with significant product development expertise
  • Good knowledge of modern programming languages and application development frameworks
  • Experience working with established large codebases and full-stack development experience
  • Good working experience with Perl, Python, SQL, PL-SQL, RDBMS, and Unix scripting skills
  • Good working experience in building, deploying containerized applications on cloud platforms like AWS ECS/EKS and familiarity in AWS Cloud Infrastructure
  • Familiarity with application build, deployment, monitoring tools and frameworks like CI/CD in Jenkins, Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog
  • Strong programming skills and knowledge of source control management tools
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps practices like Infrastructure as Code, CI, CD, and continuous monitoring
  • Scripting experience with shell scripting in Linux
  • Understanding of Agile concepts and participation in various Agile ceremonies
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable working within established large codebases and process frameworks
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a willingness to improve on existing processes
  • Good record of accomplishment of learning new tools and technologies
