About the Role

Our team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Pipeline Stress Analyst to join our group of professionals.

Job Description

This role will be responsible for performing stress analysis using Caesar II software and designing pipe supports for pipelines/piping above-ground and underground.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in identifying various data required to perform surge analysis for each project stage, as well as experience with surge analysis of metallic & non-metallic using PIPENET software.

Responsibilities
  1. Perform stress analysis using Caesar II software and design pipe supports for pipelines/piping above-ground and underground.
  2. Identify various data required to perform surge analysis for each project stage.
  3. Conduct surge analysis of metallic & non-metallic using PIPENET software.
  4. Extract surge force from PIPENET and determine its appropriateness.
  5. Prepare surge analysis reports for submission to clients.
  6. Analyze systems for pressure surges resulting from various events and provide recommendations for mitigation.
  7. Review stress analysis and pipe support calculations for compliance with industry standards and safe design practices.
  8. Coordinate with vendors to obtain correct pipe properties and ensure stress analysis conforms to vendor-supplied parameters.
Requirements
  • In-depth knowledge of design codes and standards applicable for Pipe Stress Analysis (ASME B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, ISO 14692).
  • Ability to prepare job execution plans and work instructions/standard drawings based on ITB requirements.
  • Estimate man-hours for projects/proposals and allocate specific jobs to assigned engineers.
  • Monitor project schedule, quality, and budgeted man-hours.
  • Interact with clients/PMC/vendors to resolve key issues.
  • Monitor and adhere to all technical requirements and deliverables as per ITB/contract.
