Job Description:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Data Solutions Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions on Databricks.
  • The successful candidate will lead the architecture and implementation of data pipelines and ETL processes, collaborating with business stakeholders, data scientists, and analysts to deliver actionable data insights.
  • This role involves optimizing data workflows for performance, cost-efficiency, and reliability, as well as integrating data from multiple structured and unstructured sources into Delta Lake and cloud data warehouses.
  • Mentorship and technical leadership in data engineering best practices are also key responsibilities of this position.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • At least 7 years of experience in data engineering with a strong focus on Databricks (including Databricks SQL, Delta Lake, and MLflow).
  • Hands-on experience with PySpark, Spark SQL, and Scala, as well as proficiency in data modeling, ETL development, and data warehousing concepts.
  • A solid understanding of big data ecosystems, including Hadoop and Kafka, is essential for success in this role.
  • Experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines for data solutions is also desirable.
