Job Title: Advanced Python Developer

Description:

This role requires an experienced backend developer with advanced skills in Python development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with design patterns, containerization tools, and distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable Python-based applications.
  • Architect solutions using MongoDB, Redis, FAST API, and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate React-based frontends and backend services.
  • Work with data platforms including Impala for high-performance querying and Autosys for job scheduling.
  • Ensure code quality, performance, and security standards across all development efforts.
  • Mentor and manage a team of developers, fostering innovation and accountability.
  • Drive agile development practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
  • Liaise with stakeholders from banking operations, risk, and compliance to align technical solutions with business needs.

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of total experience, with 10+ years of hands-on experience in advanced Python development and design patterns.
  • Strong experience in MongoDB, Redis, FAST API, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
  • Solid understanding of React Framework and frontend-backend integration.
  • Familiarity with Impala, Autosys, and distributed systems.
  • Proven leadership in managing mid-sized engineering teams (10–15 members).
  • Prior experience in the banking or financial services domain is required.
