Role Overview

The Infrastructure Services Director will lead the development and implementation of enterprise IT infrastructure strategies, ensuring high availability and performance of critical business systems. This role will manage a global team responsible for designing, delivering, and operating enterprise IT systems.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement IT infrastructure strategies to support business growth and agility.
  • Manage a global team of technical resources, providing leadership and direction to ensure high-quality delivery of IT services.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop IT solutions that meet those needs.
  • Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage IT budgets and resources to optimize costs and ensure efficient use of company assets.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends, and implement new technologies that support business goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and vendors.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure leadership, with a proven track record of managing complex IT projects and teams.
  • Strong technical knowledge of IT infrastructure, including cloud, virtualization, and network technologies.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience managing IT budgets and resources, with a focus on cost optimization and efficient use of company assets.
  • Ability to stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends, and implement new technologies that support business goals and objectives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex IT issues and develop effective solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, management information systems, or related field.
  • Experience with IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL.
  • Knowledge of IT security best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based IT infrastructure and services.
  • Experience with project management methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies, including servers, storage, and networking.
