Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer - Salesforce Testing

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a skilled professional with experience in Salesforce QA, specifically in automation and functional testing.
  • The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Salesforce testing frameworks, automation tools, and CI/CD processes ensuring high-quality releases across multiple Salesforce modules and integrations.

Responsibilities:

Test Planning and Strategy
  • Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce implementations including Sales Cloud Service Cloud Marketing Cloud and custom solutions.
  • Define and enforce quality assurance best practices and standards across the QA lifecycle.
Functional and Regression Testing
  • Perform end-to-end functional system integration regression and UAT testing.
  • Validate data integrity workflows and process automation across Salesforce environments.
Automation and CI/CD
  • Design develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium Provar or TestNG.
  • Integrate automation testing within CI/CD pipelines e.g. Jenkins GitLab CI.
API and Integration Testing
  • Test REST/SOAP APIs third-party integrations and middleware platforms to ensure seamless connectivity with Salesforce.
Defect Management and Reporting
  • Identify log and track defects using tools such as JIRA Azure DevOps or similar platforms.
  • Collaborate with developers architects and business analysts to ensure timely resolution and release readiness.
Performance and Security Testing
  • Conduct load testing and security validation to ensure compliance and scalability of Salesforce applications.
Collaboration and Documentation
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including development DevOps and product management.
  • Maintain detailed QA documentation and ensure knowledge transfer across teams.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in Salesforce QA with a focus on automation and functional testing.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform including Sales Cloud Service Cloud Lightning components and Apex testing.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools: Selenium WebDriver Provar TestNG or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Java JavaScript or Python) for automation tasks.
  • Experience with API testing tools such as Postman SOAP UI or REST Assured.
  • Familiarity with version control (Git) CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins GitLab) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Solid understanding of testing best practices QA processes and defect lifecycle management.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications:

  • Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator Platform App Builder or Salesforce QA Automation Specialist.
  • Exposure to cloud environments (AWS Azure or GCP) and containerized deployments.
  • Experience in testing large-scale enterprise Salesforce implementations.
