Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join our team in providing 24x7 support at the centralized Network Operations Centre (NOC).

  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in handling NOC operations and possess valid CCNP/CCNA Routing and Switching or equivalent certification.
  • They should be able to manage incidents, suggest changes/improvements when required and coordinate with LAN vendors for cabling and new installations.
  • The Network Engineer will be responsible for monitoring alerts from network devices, offering escalation support for Level 1 engineers, managing configuration changes and resolving assigned tickets/alerts on all network devices.
  • They will address network issues related to routing, switching, and configurations, identify and resolve network-related problems such as application performance issues, routing/switching errors, configuration issues, hardware/OS problems, and backup link activation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and respond to network device alerts in real-time.
  • Provide technical support to Level 1 engineers for complex network issues.
  • Manage configuration changes and updates on network devices.
  • Identify and troubleshoot network-related problems.
  • Collaborate with LAN vendors for cabling and installation services.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in NOC operations.
  • Valid CCNP/CCNA Routing and Switching or equivalent certification.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
