Cloud Automation Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Automation Engineer to design, build, and optimize infrastructure automation solutions across cloud-based and hybrid environments.

The ideal candidate should have expertise in Infrastructure as Code tools, strong experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines, and hands-on skills in VMware automation, Aria stack, OpenShift, Nutanix, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Infrastructure Automation & Orchestration
    • Develop reusable and scalable IaC templates using Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
    • Automate provisioning and configuration across public, private, and hybrid clouds.
    • Implement VMware automation with Aria stack and enable policy-as-code.
    • Manage OpenShift clusters to support containerized environments.
  • CI/CD Pipelines
    • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and GitHub Actions.
    • Integrate automated testing and quality checks for deployments.
    • Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to streamline the Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Cloud Platform Management
    • Deploy and optimize infrastructure on VMware, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, and Google Cloud.
    • Enable multi-cloud and hybrid strategies with Kubernetes and Docker.
    • Automate solutions on Nutanix platforms and hyperscaler environments.
  • Monitoring & Optimization
    • Implement monitoring, auto-scaling, and self-healing mechanisms.
    • Troubleshoot and ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Collaboration & Documentation
    • Work closely with DevOps, Operations, and Security teams.
    • Maintain detailed documentation and provide team mentorship.

Required skills include Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, CI/CD pipeline expertise, Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting, VMware automation, Aria stack, Nutanix, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Preferred certifications include Terraform Associate, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Certified Architect, Kubernetes, VMware Certifications, and Nutanix certifications.
