Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to support the preparation, testing, and release of software within customer environments.

This role involves resolving incidents and fulfilling requests related to packages, ensuring timely delivery in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and experience in preparing applications for deployment using available setup commands/scripting as well as repackaging and customizing setup applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective packaging strategies to ensure seamless application deployment.
  • Resolve package-related incidents and requests in a timely manner, adhering to SLA guidelines.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, including customers, application owners, and vendors, to ensure successful package implementation.
  • Manage and support customer environments built with Windows client operating systems, Active Directory Group Policy, Microsoft Defender, SoftwareCentral, and the Microsoft Intune product family.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Thorough knowledge of MSI and MSIX packaging frameworks.
  • Expertise in Windows 11 and AD Group Policies.
  • Intermediate level knowledge of PowerShell Scripting and basic level VB scripting in support of automating application installations.
  • Operational knowledge of Microsoft Intune product family, including Microsoft Configuration Manager, with a focus on application creation/integration and deployment.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and logical reasoning skills.
  • Experience working in an ITIL-based operations environment using ITSM toolsets such as ServiceNow.

Preferred Skills

The following skills are highly desirable:

  • Experience in preparing applications for Citrix environments.
  • Microsoft Certifications, such as MD-100: Windows 10, MD-101: Managing modern desktops, or MD-102: Endpoint Administrator.
  • Ability to work in an international environment and support multiple customer environments simultaneously.
