Finance and Accounting Leadership Role

The Accounts Manager is responsible for leading the finance and accounting operations at our organization. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing day-to-day accounting activities, compliance with statutory requirements, financial planning, and coordination with auditors and banks.

This role requires strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation laws, and compliance requirements. Hands-on experience in GST, TDS, TCS, ESI, PF, and statutory filings is essential. Proficiency in accounting software (Tally ERP, SAP, or equivalent) and MS Excel is also necessary.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading the accounts function and ensuring efficient handling of receivables and payables.
  • Planning and monitoring daily, weekly, and monthly accounting tasks to ensure timely completion.
  • Handling registration, renewal, and compliance for licenses and statutory approvals.
  • Managing insurance for company vehicles, assets, and employees.
  • Supervising payroll processing and ensuring timely salary disbursement.
  • Reviewing and finalizing ledgers and financial records.
  • Ensuring compliance with tax laws including GST, TDS, TCS, ESI & PF, and overseeing all statutory filings.
  • Maintaining proper documentation, filing, and record-keeping for financial data.
  • Coordinating with auditors, consultants, and external agencies for audits and financial reviews.
  • Ensuring financial tasks are completed within internal timelines and statutory deadlines.
  • Maintaining accuracy, transparency, and confidentiality in all financial matters.
  • Supporting the implementation and usage of accounting software/tools.
  • Resolving escalated issues related to payments, invoices, and compliance.
  • Preparing bank proposals, CMA data, and financial ratios as per banking guidelines.
  • Liaising with bank officers for credit facilities and limit approvals.
  • Calculating Bank Drawing Power (DP) and Maximum Permissible Bank Finance (MPBF).
  • Taking ownership of key financial tasks during the absence of senior management to ensure business continuity.
  • Conducting and managing half-monthly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
