Job Title: Production Supervisor

Role Overview:

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines, and managing a team of technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in daily toolbox talks to understand tasks and special requirements.
  • Supervise daily activities to ensure adherence to WIS and HIRA guidelines during FRT and FAT.
  • Ensure compliance with PTW for power supply trolleys.
  • Identify and address unsafe acts and conditions during testing.
  • Perform calibration, maintenance, and upgradation of testing equipment.
  • Verify that all trolleys and equipment are in good working condition.
  • Ensure EHS compliance on the shopfloor.
  • Support technicians with technical queries and provide product training.
  • Develop a culture of safe working practices within the team.
  • Monitor and support testing skills development.
  • Provide training on IEC and IS standards for MV switchgear panels.
  • Participate in internal and external audits.
  • Offer product and process training to testing engineers.
  • Monitor planned testing activities and handle subordinate topics like attendance and output.

Qualifications and Skills:

Qualifications:

  • Electrical Engineer degree with 6-8 years of experience or Diploma Electrical Engineer with 8-10 years of experience in MV panel testing.
  • Preferably Electrical Safety Diploma holder.
  • Exposure to field services or commissioning activities at sites is an advantage.

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Good understanding of EHS guidelines for electrical/mechanical testing.
  • Motivated and energetic approach to job duties and team management.
