Finance Leader Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated finance professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of financial accounting principles and a proven track record in financial statement preparation, month-end closing, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Lead the preparation and finalization of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Month-End Closure: Manage the entire month-end book closure process, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring all financial data is accurate and complete.
  • Revenue and Expense Management: Conduct a thorough review of expenses to ensure proper classification, recognition and tax compliances. Oversee revenue recognition processes in line with accounting standards.
  • GST Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate filing of all GST returns. Stay updated on changes in GST laws and regulations to ensure continuous compliance.
  • Reconciliation: Perform bank reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, and other balance sheet reconciliations to ensure the integrity of financial data.
  • Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation, schedules, and explanations.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Prepare various financial reports MIS for management, highlighting key trends and providing insightful analysis on financial performance.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting and accounting operations.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 2 to 3 years of post-qualification experience in a relevant accounting or finance role.
  • Proven expertise in the preparation of financial statements and the month-end closing process.
  • Experienced in team management
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting standards is essential.
  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience with tax compliances and return filings.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
