Urban Design Manager Job Description

This role involves leading and managing urban design projects, collaborating with teams, and utilizing skills to develop comprehensive master plans for real estate. Key responsibilities include project leadership, feasibility studies, master planning, and design management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Leadership: Lead complex urban design projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to standards, budgets, and timelines.
  • Feasibility Studies: Generate creative and innovative urban design concepts that align with the project's goals, budget, and timeline.
  • Master Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive master plans for airport real estate.
  • Design Management: Collaborate with external consultants and internal project teams to develop detailed master plans, drawings, and specifications.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Education: B.Arch & Masters (M.Arch) in Urban Design from a reputable institute such as CEPT University & School of Planning & Architecture (SPA).
  • Experience: A minimum of 7 years of experience in urban design, design management, or a related field, with at least 17 years of total experience.
  • Skills: Proficiency in building/planning, infra codes for urban design, planning, and building; demonstrated workplace experience in survey and analysis of sites, preparation of base plans, and supporting material required for urban design and master planning work.
