Quality Assurance Automation Expert

Our company is looking for a skilled Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in QA automation and a strong understanding of software testing principles, SDLC, and agile practices.

Job Description

As a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining UI automation tests for React (web) and React Native (mobile) applications. You will also write and maintain API automation tests for NestJS/Node.js backend services using tools like Postman and scripting frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain UI automation tests for React (web) and React Native (mobile) applications.
  • Write and maintain API automation tests for NestJS/Node.js backend services, using tools like Postman and scripting frameworks.
  • Collaborate with developers to define test strategies and ensure automation coverage across frontend, backend, and mobile applications.
  • Investigate test failures, analyze logs, and provide detailed defect reports.
  • Continuously improve automation frameworks for scalability and maintainability.

Required Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience in QA automation.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript for test scripting.
  • Experience with UI automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Detox for React Native).
  • Proficiency in API testing and automation using Postman/Newman or similar frameworks.
  • Understanding of software testing principles, SDLC, and agile practices.
