Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Chip Design Manager to lead our team in developing cutting-edge mixed signal chips for a prominent Silicon Valley startup. This role involves overseeing the implementation of complex SoCs, building and guiding teams of engineers, collaborating with external IP vendors, and ensuring that each design meets the specified requirements.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of advanced mixed signal chips
  • Build and manage high-performing teams of engineers
  • Collaborate with external IP vendors to integrate blocks into the design
  • Ensure that each design meets the specified requirements

Requirements

To succeed in this position, you will need:

  • Experience in all phases of the IC design process from RTL->GDS2
  • Analog/Mixed/Custom Signal PNR experience preferred
  • TSMC 7nm PNR sign-off experience using a full COT flow from RTL/gate to GDS
  • Experience in developing PNR methodology/flow and supporting a larger PD team
  • Hierarchical Place & Route experience
  • Experience in Floorplanning, clock & power network architecture and design
  • UPF/CPF power intent flow – multiple supply domains
  • Thorough understanding of digital design, timing analysis, and DFT
  • LVS/DRC/ERC, EMIR (static & dynamic)
  • Knowledge of FCBGA I/O ring layout
  • EDA Tools: Cadence (Innovus, Voltus), Mentor (Calibre), Ansys (Redhawk, Totem)
