The Structured Credit/Rates Trading team supports regional Global Markets teams covering Equities, Securitized Products, Rates, FX, and Credit. This division provides crucial support for activities like research, quantitative modelling, sales and trading support, pricing and balancing, product development and strategy.

You will be part of our Global Markets Powai Structured Trading team, working closely with Trading, Sales and Structuring functions primarily dealing with EMEA and US regions. The team focuses on pricing, modelling, position-keeping, market tracking and trade-idea generation.

In this role as a Structured Products Analyst/Associate, you will:

  1. Collaborate closely with global trading desks facing dynamic markets and aggressive deadlines.
  2. Gain expertise in relevant global financial products and models developed by our business.
  3. Respond to client requests, ranging from data provision to designing and implementing bespoke models.
  4. Perform trade modelling, strategy selection, and performance analysis.
  5. Develop and maintain the existing infrastructure.
  6. Work closely with sales, traders and structurers to enable new trades to be executed, post-trade analysis, and position keeping.
  7. Translate financial market knowledge into understandable investment opinions and make relative value recommendations.
  8. Stay current on market and commercial developments to inform investment strategies.
  9. Assist senior management in preparing pitches for internal Investment committees and management packs.
