Job Description

Responsible for the overall network technology management for the organization, planning and execution of new technology roll outs, scope expansion and readiness of team from a technical standpoint. Manage SOPs, knowledge documents, KB articles, and implement technical methodology improvement from past failures and learnings.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Identify network issues based on troubleshooting and decide on actions required to resolve the issue. Refer to KEDB or knowledge bases for known issues/repetitive issues and resolution steps. Implement resolution steps, execute, validate, and update ticket with steps taken and outcome.
  2. Triage tickets by escalating unresolved or unknown issues to L3 Network SME and supporting the troubleshooting process. If a bridge is involved, continue on the bridge along with the SME. This support includes coordination with 3rd party network vendor technicians.
  3. Ensure process compliance by gathering information from vendors, customers, analysis from troubleshooting/investigation, and updating tickets regularly as per defined processes.
  4. Prepare detailed reports on plans of action for existing tickets for next shift engineers (Shift Handover Reports).
  5. Maintain inventory of network equipment and links, track tickets for SLA adherence, and escalate deviations as defined in the process.
  6. Understand existing environments and propose opportunities for improvement. Identify nagging issues and develop Get Around solutions by working with vendors and industry experts.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc)

Certification Mandatory/Desirable: Basic Level Certification - F5 Certified Admin / CCNA / Riverbed RCSA-W (WAN Optimization Associate) / ZIA Admin / ZPA Admin / ZDX Admin / Prisma SD-WAN: Design and Operation / Certified Forcepoint Web Security Administrator / ACCA / CCNA
