Senior Data Validation Specialist

Job Description:

This position will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless transition of data from legacy systems to modernized platforms. As the sole Data QA resource, you will be responsible for guaranteeing data integrity and dashboard accuracy throughout the migration process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute comprehensive testing of ETL pipelines and data warehouse migrations to ensure high-quality data delivery.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot scripts across AWS environments to identify and resolve any data discrepancies.
  • Validate QuickSight dashboards and reporting accuracy to guarantee timely and actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient data flow and visibility, aligning with organizational goals.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Hands-on experience with AWS services: Redshift, S3, Glue, Lambda, CloudWatch, EventBridge, Batch Jobs, QuickSight.
  • Strong SQL expertise (joins, subqueries, analytical functions) and proficiency in RDBMS (MySQL, Oracle SQL) and SSIS.
  • Familiarity with UNIX commands for log analysis and job monitoring, with experience in RedShift.
  • Experience writing test automation scripts for data pipelines and a track record of successful data validation.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience automating data testing using AI/ML tools and CI/CD pipeline integration for test automation.
