HVAC Designer Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Designer to join our team. As an HVAC Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing HVAC systems that meet the needs of our clients.

About the Role:

  • You will work closely with our design team to develop comprehensive designs for HVAC systems.
  • Your primary responsibility will be to create detailed mechanical engineering plans for various building types.
  • You will also ensure that all designs meet industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform heat & cooling load calculations to determine the optimal system configuration.
  2. Determine fresh air & make-up air unit requirements based on building occupancy and climate.
  3. Calculate CFM for residential layouts to ensure proper ventilation.
  4. Design duct systems that are efficient and effective.
  5. Ensure code compliance & coordinate with teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  6. Prepare drawings & reports for client review and approval.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in HVAC design.
  • Familiarity with ASHRAE & NPC codes.
  • Proficiency in HAP, AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant software tools.
