Lead Men's Apparel Designer

A dynamic and creative role for a seasoned apparel designer to lead the end-to-end design process for seasonal men's collections.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of market trends, technical expertise, and excellent communication skills. They will be responsible for driving the full design process, from trend forecasting and concept development to creating accurate tech-packs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Seasonal Design Cycle: Develop and execute the design strategy for men's collections, including trend forecasting, concept development, and sketching.
  • Material Sourcing & Coordination: Source high-quality, cost-effective materials and collaborate with suppliers to ensure seamless execution.
  • Sample Development & Fit Evaluation: Manage prototype creation and fittings, providing precise revisions and constructive feedback.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sourcing, production, merchandising, and marketing teams to ensure smooth execution from design concept to retail launch.
  • Design Documentation: Maintain organized archives of mood boards, tech-packs, and digital assets for reference and future use.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (6+ years) in men's apparel design, preferably in a retail or brand environment.
  • Strong skills in trend analysis, sketching (hand or digital), and creating detailed tech-packs.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD tools.
  • Solid understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
