Job Description

Data Engineering Expert

You will collaborate with Product owners/managers to understand business needs, design technical details of data engineering jobs/processes to fulfill business requirements, and lead sessions with data engineers and provide guidance to solve technical challenges.

  • Create new and/or enhance existing data processing components
  • Establish and refine data engineering best practices
  • Evaluate data engineers' work and ensure they adhere to coding standards, best practices, etc. and produce production-ready code
  • Solve problems related to data environments, optimize performance
  • Document technical artifacts for developed solutions
  • Maintain strong relationships with different teams within the organization
Required Skills and Qualifications

Expertise

  • Advanced SQL queries, scripts, stored procedures, materialized views, and views
  • ELT data loading and database transformations
  • Analytical SQL functions
  • Familiarity with Snowflake experience preferred
  • Data marts, lakes, and warehouses
  • Cloud Data Warehouse solutions (Snowflake, Azure DW, Redshift)
  • DevOps models (CI/CD tool)
  • Hands-on Cloud environment (ADLS, Blob)
  • Talend, Apache Airflow, TWS, Azure Data Factory, BI tools (Tableau)
