Solar Energy Leader

This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional to drive the success of our solar power plant operations.

  • EPC Delivery:
  • Own the end-to-end delivery process, from design and procurement to construction and commissioning.
  • Vendor & Contract Management:
  • Negotiate and manage vendor contracts, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
  • Cost & Schedule Control:
  • Monitor budgets and timelines using Primavera/MS Project, identifying areas for cost savings and schedule optimization.
  • Government Liaison:
  • Establish relationships with government agencies, securing necessary permits and approvals.

O&M Excellence:

Establish a predictive O&M regime, utilizing SCADA analytics, preventive maintenance, and drone inspections to achieve 98% uptime.

  • KPI Reporting:
  • Develop monthly dashboards to track key performance indicators, including CUF, availability, and maintenance spend.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Implement process optimizations and cost-reduction initiatives across service providers.

Business Development & Financing:

Leverage market knowledge and bid strategy expertise to identify opportunities under government schemes and commercial RFPs.

  • Project Finance Expertise:
  • Structure debt vs. equity financing, negotiate term sheets, and manage subsidy draw-downs.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Cultivate partnerships with farmer cooperatives, DISCOMs, financial institutions, and regulators.

Candidate Profile:

We seek candidates with 5+ years of experience in solar or large-scale energy projects, demonstrating leadership skills and direct government interfacing.

  • Financing Acumen:
  • Strong understanding of project finance structures, subsidy integration, escrow, and DSRA mechanisms.
  • Government Navigation:
  • Demonstrated success securing multi-tier approvals from local authorities through MNRE and DISCOMs.
  • Technical & Financial Tools:
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 or MS Project, SCADA platforms, and advanced financial modeling in Excel/VBA.
  • Startup DNA:
  • Comfortable as a hands-on individual contributor building processes from scratch.
