Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our team as a Data Insights Analyst. This is an excellent opportunity for students looking to gain hands-on experience in data analysis, visualization, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing Data Collection Systems: Design, implement, and maintain organization-wide data collection systems to ensure information accuracy and reliability.
  • Data Management and Analysis: Serve as a key resource for process improvement teams and departments regarding quality data management and statistical analysis.
  • Business Intelligence: Identify opportunities to leverage company data to enhance product and process performance through collaboration with various stakeholders.
  • Advanced Data Mining: Utilize advanced data mining and analysis techniques to drive quality improvements and optimize datasets.
  • Reporting and Communication: Prepare and deliver regular reports for senior management, effectively communicating insights and recommendations.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field (3rd or 4th year).
  • Data Analysis Skills: Proficient in data analysis, data visualization, and data gathering techniques using Python.
  • SQL and Shell Scripting: Strong ability to write basic to advanced SQL queries and proficient in shell scripting and Linux.
  • API Experience: Experience with REST APIs is a plus.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in product development.
  • Data Structures Understanding: Understanding of various data structures and common data transformation methods.
