Job Title: Senior Motion Graphics Designer

Description:

We're looking for a creative leader with a passion for design, storytelling, and motion graphics to contribute their expertise in crafting engaging visuals for various media formats.

This position involves conceptualizing and storyboarding animations, designing and animating graphic elements, typography, characters, and visual effects in 2D or 3D using industry-standard software like Adobe After Effects, Premier Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and PowerPoint.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of design principles, layout, composition, color theory, and typography. They must also be proficient in animation principles, timing, spacing, easing, anticipation, and other essential skills.

A portfolio showcasing a diverse range of motion graphics work is required. The successful candidate will be able to effectively communicate ideas, work collaboratively with others, and manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.

About the Role:

  • Conceptualization and Storyboarding: Develop visual concepts and create storyboards to outline the animation sequence.
  • Design and Animation: Utilize industry-standard software to design and animate graphic elements, typography, characters, and visual effects in 2D or 3D.
  • Typography and Kinetic Typography: Select and animate text effectively to convey messages and create visual interest.
  • Audio Integration: Sync animations with voiceovers, sound effects, and music to create a cohesive and engaging final product.
  • Video Editing: Combine motion graphics with live-action footage and perform post-production tasks using software like Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure that all motion graphics align with the brand guidelines, including color palettes, typography, and visual style.
  • Staying Current: Keep up-to-date with the latest design trends, animation techniques, and software advancements.
  • Optimization: Prepare and export animations in various formats optimized for different platforms (web, social media, broadcast, etc.).
