Key Role

We're looking for a skilled Machine Learning Engineer to drive innovation in our AI-native platform. The successful candidate will bridge the gap between data engineering and machine learning, crafting robust data pipelines and developing high-quality ML models.

Core Responsibilities

  • Data Pipeline Development: Design and implement efficient data pipelines using Python (scikit-learn, LightGBM, XGBoost) to transform raw events into actionable insights.
  • Label Definition and Computation: Develop and implement label definitions for churn prediction, upsell propensity, and lead scoring, ensuring high accuracy and reproducibility.
  • Model Training and Deployment: Train and deploy ML models using Airflow, MLflow, or similar tools, integrating them seamlessly with our production systems.
  • Real-time Inference Services and Retraining: Build real-time inference services and establish retraining pipelines to ensure continuous model improvement.
  • Collaboration and Compliance: Work closely with backend engineers to integrate model outputs, while maintaining data quality, compliance (HIPAA), and regulatory adherence.

Essential Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in data engineering or applied machine learning.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and one or more ML libraries (scikit-learn, LightGBM, XGBoost, PyTorch).
  • Experience with data pipelines (Airflow, dbt, or custom ETL) and event-driven systems (Kafka, Redis, ClickHouse).
  • Understanding of the ML lifecycle: training, serving, monitoring, retraining.
  • Ability to design time-based labels and strong problem-solving skills.

Desirable Qualifications

  • MLOps tools (MLflow, BentoML, Ray Serve).
  • Experience with bandit algorithms, A/B testing, or uplift modeling.
  • Prior work with customer engagement, CRM, or subscription businesses.
