Strategic UAV Leader

This role involves overseeing the development and deployment of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) systems, from prototype to operational deployment. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of UAV technology, including autopilot systems, sensors, and communication protocols.

The position requires strong leadership skills, with experience in team management and collaboration. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities are also essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement UAV systems strategies and roadmaps
  • Lead cross-functional teams to design, integrate, and test UAV platforms
  • Collaborate with engineers to develop autonomous UAV systems and payload integration
  • Establish and enforce flight safety protocols and risk assessments
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 10+ years in UAV/avionics engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Deep expertise in UAV platforms, autopilot systems, and sensor technologies
  • Hands-on experience with autonomous UAV platforms and mission planning software
  • Knowledge of UAV payloads, secure comms, and encryption protocols
  • Strong grasp of flight dynamics, safety envelopes, and failure analysis
