Quality Assurance Lead Job Description

This role is responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and services. We are looking for a seasoned professional to lead our quality assurance efforts.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Lead to oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality assurance processes across multiple projects.

  • Develop and maintain quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with established quality standards
  • Analyze data and identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead quality planning, implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple projects
  • Develop and track software quality metrics, manage deviations, ensure compliance, conduct audits, and oversee QA KPIs to drive continuous performance improvement
  • Maintain complaint/non-conformance processing, monitor risk, analyze problem logs, and apply best practices in development, testing, version control, and defect management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, with a focus on software development
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC processes and methodologies, including Agile/Kanban/Scrum
  • Expertise in quality management activities, including audits and assessments

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with IT service management operations
  • Knowledge of ITIL/CMMI models/Six Sigma/Lean Process
