Drive Innovation as a Principal Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced principal architect to drive technical roadmaps for IP domains, including complete IP portfolios, logic design, and architecting complex subsystems solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive technical strategies for complete IP/subsystem domains within the global R&D team.
  • Perform thorough analysis against industry benchmarks and ensure innovative features that meet customer requirements with high innovation levels.
  • Architect and design complex IPs/subsystems across various protocols required for automotive self-driving vehicles (ADAS), in-vehicle networks, gateway systems, and fail-safe subsystems.
  • Lead IPs/subsystems from concept to design and development, achieving final design performance in integrated systems under aggressive schedules.
  • Analyze existing processes to recommend and implement improvements for 'Zero Defect' designs and ensure quality adherence throughout all stages of the IP development cycle.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Self-starter with 10-14 years of hands-on experience in architecting and designing complex IPs/subsystems with minimal supervision.
  • Custom processor designs with key DSP functions for vision and radar processing.
  • Experience in high-speed serial protocols and associated challenges on controllers and PHY for PCIe, Ethernet, and MIPI CSI2.
  • Understanding of external memory interface protocols, including DDR4/LPDDR4 and QuadSPI Flash interfaces.
  • Experience in microcontroller architecture, cache, and protocols like AHB/AMBA, AXI.
  • Extensive hands-on knowledge of HDLs (Verilog/VHDL), scripting languages (Perl/Tcl), and C/C++ for hardware modeling.
  • Understanding of end-to-end IP development flow, including complex CDC, RDC constructs, IP synthesis, DFT ATPG coverage.
  • Hands-on work on pre-silicon validation using FPGA/emulation boards is an added advantage.
