About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager to join our team at Pragati RRD Private Limited. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting operations including General Ledger, Reconciliations, Taxation, and support for audits under the supervision of the Manager.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong foundational knowledge in accounting principles and journal entries, good working knowledge of Income Tax, TDS, and GST, and proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.). You should also have good analytical and numerical skills, ability to work independently on routine tasks and escalate issues appropriately, strong team collaboration and communication skills, and ability to manage workload efficiently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Handling day-to-day accounting operations including journal entries, ledger postings, reconciliations (bank, vendor, intercompany), and fixed assets accounting.
  • Support monthly and annual closing processes by preparing schedules, reports, and accurate financial data.
  • Assist in statutory and internal audits by providing required documentation and resolving audit queries.
  • Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, and other applicable tax requirements.
  • Prepare MIS reports and assist in variance analysis as directed by the Manager.
  • Maintain documentation and ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders for smooth financial operations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Finance & Accounting, specifically in the Manufacturing Industry.
  • Technical know-how in MS Office Suite, VB, Power tools / Work experience in SAP or similar ERP is essential.
  • Familiarity in accounting & reporting tools is preferred and basic understanding of accounting standards and taxation rules.
