Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Manager to join our team. As a key player in our finance department, you will be responsible for leading the finance partnership and program managing Internal Azure spend optimization.

This role requires strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify trends and anomalies in data. You will also be expected to create simplified BI dashboards and automate insights/action recommendations.

In addition to your technical skills, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence decision making and hold teams accountable for execution.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance
  • OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance
  • OR equivalent experience
  • Strong Program Management experience of at least 2 years running world-wide initiatives
  • Hands on experience in Cloud Infrastructure OR Azure cost drivers and optimization opportunities

Prior experience in multinationals with multi-product/multi-segment finance roles in technology or software industry is desirable. Additionally, a Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA Finance Degree would be an asset.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Financial Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Reporting, Analytics & Insights - Data being at the forefront, you will be hands-on with BI and other analytical tools to bring driver-based insights, including identifying trends and anomalies
  • Partnering with Engineering leaders and efficiency champs to align on cost optimization opportunity, prioritization and target timelines for execution
  • Running initiatives as a program through frameworks, agile methodologies, continuous feedback, decision support, monitoring progress and communication
