We are seeking a compassionate professional to join our team as a Mental Health Specialist. This role involves providing holistic support and intervention for individuals experiencing distress, trauma, and mental health challenges.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals' needs, including symptom evaluation and risk factor identification.
- Provide immediate crisis intervention and support, assessing safety, facilitating de-escalation, and coordinating referrals as needed.
- Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, coping strategies, and community resources available for their well-being.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for clients.
- Maintain accurate records of client assessments, progress notes, and interventions in compliance with confidentiality and privacy regulations.
- Pursue continuous professional development to stay informed about current developments in the field.
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- Experience in mental health assessment, crisis intervention, and counseling.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
