Senior Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled cloud infrastructure specialist to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud architecture, continuous integration and delivery, automation, containerization, and monitoring tools.
The successful applicant will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud infrastructure. This will involve developing and managing continuous integration and delivery pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
Automating infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools is also an essential part of this role. Additionally, the specialist will be required to implement monitoring and alerting solutions using tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure
- Develop and manage continuous integration and delivery pipelines
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using IaC tools
- Implement monitoring and alerting solutions
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong experience with cloud services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, IAM, ECS/EKS, CloudFormation)
- Proficiency in automation and scripting (Bash, Python, or similar)
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, AWS CodePipeline)
- Expertise with IaC tools like Terraform and CloudFormation
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS)
- Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK, Prometheus/Grafana)
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and DevSecOps practices
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect)
- Experience with serverless architecture and microservices
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps best practices
