Audit Manager — Internal Controls Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pre-Audit Planning:
  1. Develop comprehensive audit plans, including checklists and process flowcharts, aligned with our financial year objectives.
  2. Communicate with key stakeholders and participate in process understanding meetings to ensure a thorough grasp of our operational landscape.
Audit Execution:
  1. Conduct detailed analyses and reviews in line with the Audit Plan, focusing on identifying areas for improvement and recommending practical solutions.
  2. Prepare clear, concise draft reports to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to relevant parties.
Team Collaboration:
  1. Foster effective working relationships with cross-functional teams and engage with various stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment.
  2. Utilize strong communication skills to develop and maintain positive working relationships.
Reporting:
  1. Deliver high-quality audit reports that identify root causes, offer actionable recommendations, and provide value to management.
  2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of audit work papers.
Status Updates:
  1. Regularly interact with the Reporting Manager to report the status of our ongoing activities and highlight significant risks or exposures.
  2. Provide timely updates on audit progress and emerging issues.
Travel:
  1. Be prepared to travel as required to conduct audits and meet with stakeholders.
