Job Title: Business Development DirectorAs a Business Development Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving comprehensive business growth, operational excellence, and team development across multiple retail outlets within a designated region.Key Responsibilities:
  • P&L Management
  • This entails maximizing profitability by closely working with the business team to hit revenue and cost targets. You will drive in-store sales through enhanced customer engagement while strategically managing operational costs.
  • Change Management Leadership
  • You will spearhead and implement business strategic initiatives and change programs within your area, ensuring smooth transitions and team adoption of new processes, technologies, and customer engagement strategies.
  • Employee Retention & Development
  • This involves recruiting, developing, motivating, and retaining high-performing store teams. You will foster a positive work environment that encourages growth and reduces attrition, with a focus on deep product knowledge.
  • Customer Experience & Retention
  • You will ensure the delivery of an unparalleled customer experience across all stores, focusing on educating customers about personalized plans and driving strong customer engagement.
  • Performance Reporting & Insights
  • This requires analyzing key performance indicators and operational data for your area, generating comprehensive reports, and providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • SOP Adherence & Operational Excellence
  • You will ensure strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures, maintaining consistent brand standards and visual merchandising guidelines.
  • Strategic Collaboration
  • You will work closely with the business team to implement national strategies at a local level, providing valuable market feedback and contributing to the evolution of our retail model.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • 7-8 years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 2-3 years of experience with a Master's Degree from a top-tier college is required.
  • A proven track record in managing Store level P&L and driving financial results is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and successfully implementing change management initiatives is necessary.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights are required.
  • Exceptional leadership, team-building, and interpersonal communication skills are essential.
