Job Description
A Tax Analyst, Global Trade internship offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge AI techniques and drive differentiation in Indirect Taxes & Global Trade.
This role involves applied research in tax planning, compliance, and strategies from a product development perspective. You will perform analytical tasks to support tax-related capabilities and strategies with specific focus on Global Trade - Customs, Excise, VAT/GST.
The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in pursuing further research towards a Masters or PhD in a related field. They will also possess experience in research methodologies and techniques, as well as strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct applied research in Indirect tax planning, compliance, and strategies.
- Perform analytical tasks to support tax-related capabilities and strategies.
- Support the development of tax-related products and services.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Computer Science strongly preferred.
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Basic knowledge of global trade and tax regulations is a strong plus.
