Job Title: Senior Software Engineer - Front End

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Commercialization IT function. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading and contributing to the design, development, and implementation of digital capabilities.

About the Role:

This position is a senior-level technical role that requires strong leadership skills and experience in software development. You will work closely with IT partners and business teams to understand requirements and use cases, and collaborate with colleagues to drive effective customer engagement and experience.

The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of software-development lifecycle methodologies, including Agile and Lean, and experience with creating/maintaining standard documentation such as SDDs, configuration trackers, and deployment checklists.

  • Design and develop innovative digital solutions to drive business growth and improve customer experience;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and deliver high-quality solutions;
  • Provide coaching and training to junior developers to ensure they have the necessary skills to succeed;
  • Maintain and enhance existing software systems to ensure they meet evolving business needs;
  • Work closely with data architecture, cyber security, and application build and support teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of services.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field;
  • At least 3 years of progressively responsible experience in an IT technical role;
  • Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle methodologies, including Agile and Lean;
  • Experience with creating/maintaining standard documentation, such as SDDs, configuration trackers, and deployment checklists;
  • Hands-on experience with Veeva system integrations and content authoring tools;
  • Solid understanding of Veeva CRM application, especially as it integrates with PromoMats and MedComms;
  • Experience with effectively using CI/CD processes to streamline and integrate with AGILE ways of working/delivery;
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with 3+ years of progressively responsible experience in an IT technical role.
Preferred Skills:

Proficiency in one or more programming languages, including JavaScript/Typescript, HTML/CSS, and Python;

Knowledge of multi-channel content distribution to CRM (Veeva IVA and Approved Email);

Familiarity with and awareness of the Pharmaceutical Industry;

Awareness of industry trends and best practices in software development and digital transformation;

Exposure to cloud-based technologies, including AWS S3 webkit and Docker;

Working knowledge of SQL and database management systems;

Experience with DevOps practices and tools, including Git/GitHub/SVN and NPM/Pip;

Proficiency in UI/UX design tools, including Figma and Adobe XD.
